Canadian Black Chamber of Commerce and Kibbi Technologies Partner to Launch Jobs Direct — Canada's Most Inclusive Job Marketplace

New platform connects diverse talent with employers committed to equitable hiring — featuring a dedicated Black Talent Directory

Toronto, ON – March 6, 2026 – Talent is everywhere in Canada. Opportunity isn't. The Canadian Black Chamber of Commerce (CBCC) and Kibbi Technologies are working to change that.

CBCC announced the launch of Jobs Direct — a nationwide employment platform built to connect job seekers from underrepresented communities with employers who are genuinely committed to inclusive, equitable hiring. At its core is the Black Talent Directory, a dedicated pathway for Black Canadian professionals seeking employers actively working to strengthen Black representation in their organizations.

Jobs Direct serves job seekers across Canada's full spectrum of diversity — Black Canadians, Indigenous peoples, newcomers, persons with disabilities, LGBTQ2S+ individuals, and others who have historically been shut out of traditional hiring channels. Every employer on the platform is vetted for authentic commitment to workplace equity, fair compensation, and inclusive cultures.

"We built Jobs Direct because talent is everywhere, but opportunity isn't," said Michael Forrest, Founder of CBCC. "This platform removes barriers for job seekers from all communities while giving employers a direct line to the diverse candidates they've been struggling to reach through conventional channels."

A Platform Built for All — Rooted in Community

The Black Talent Directory reflects CBCC's founding mandate: advancing Black economic inclusion. But Jobs Direct reflects something larger — the full, diverse reality of Canada. "Economic inclusion isn't a competition between communities," Forrest added. "It's a commitment to all of them."

The platform is developed in partnership with Kibbi Technologies, a community-first hiring platform that connects local businesses with nearby talent through intuitive, integrated tools. Together, CBCC's national reach and Kibbi's hiring infrastructure form the foundation of a platform designed to grow with the communities it serves. The official launch is set for Q2 2026.
